Building a home takes a lot of time. Several stages go by: from taking an option to final delivery and the many stages in between. Let your homebuyers know at any time which milestones have already been reached and what is still to come.
The image below shows what the milestones look like for home buyers.
As you can see, there is a progress bar to which all the milestones are attached. The line and dots get coloured in as the construction progresses. Since the milestones are part of the dashboard, each time your client sees which phase is currently active.
When you have a significant number of milestones, the first and/or last milestones are grouped together. When you hover over them, you will see all milestones individually.
Creating milestones
Navigate to the Milestones functionality.
Click on ‘+ Add New Milestone’.
Give the new milestone a clear name.
Click on ‘+ Create Milestone’.
Edit Milestones
Click the cog in the top right corner and select Edit. You can now:
Edit the name of one or more milestones.
Edit the order of the milestones via the arrows.
Delete milestones.
Units (Only for Projects with multiple Units)
Through Units you get a handy overview of which Units are in which Milestone. You can also easily change the Milestone of one or more Units via this way.
Adding Units to a Milestone
To add Units to a milestone, you can proceed in two ways:
Select ‘Edit Units’ next to the milestone you wish to add Units to.
2. Go to Units, select the units for which you want to edit the milestone and click ‘Edit milestone’. (Only for Projects with multiple Units)
