What to share?
Clear and consistent communication is essential to keep customers satisfied and engaged. Just like with an unexpected train delay, people experience uncertainty when they are not informed. Therefore, keep your customers actively involved throughout the entire construction process, even at times when there appears to be little progress.
Here is some inspiration to help you get started:
Site updates: Show your customers what is happening. Even if there are few visual changes on the outside of the building, a lot is probably happening on the inside!
Meet the team: Who is behind the scenes? Who will your customers be in contact with? Who is building their home?
The story behind the project name: Your project name may have originated during a dry brainstorming session, or perhaps there is a beautiful story behind it? Share this with your customer to increase engagement.
Create a news item
1. Add text, photo (s), or video
To send your news item, you must add at least one of the following elements: text, a photo (or multiple photos), or a link to a video.
In addition to text and images, it is also possible to upload a video via a YouTube link. Copy the URL of the video in YouTube and paste it into Ziggu.
All options are individually optional, but at least one element is required.
Tip: You can set a separate text for each language within one news item. The customer automatically sees the message in the language set in their profile.
2. Select your target audience (Only for Projects with multiple Units)
Your news item is shared with the entire project by default, so that every customer with a purchased unit gets to see it.
In addition, you can specify the target audience based on units, such as a phase, lot, building, or an individual unit. This is ideal for targeted communication, such as sending a photo of a newly installed kitchen as a personal message to the customer concerned. This type of personal update is greatly appreciated!
With the 'Select multiple' button (right), you can easily put together your desired target group.
3. Send
As soon as you click the Save button, your news item will be published and the selected target audience will receive a notification.
Add a video
In addition to text and images, it is also possible to upload a video via a YouTube link. Copy the URL of the video in YouTube and paste it into Ziggu.
Choose a nice description, select the language, and choose the desired publication level. You can post the video for the entire project or just a few units. You can easily adjust this with the 'change level' option.
Tip: Would you prefer that your video is not publicly viewable on YouTube? Change the privacy settings on YouTube and make the video "unlisted". More info via the Google help article.
Edit or delete
Oops! Published an incorrect message? You can edit or delete your news items at any time by clicking the three dots next to the message. You can also always see who has already viewed your message or video. You can pin your message to the top, so it always remains visible, even after new messages are posted.
Please note: customers will not receive a notification of the changes. When deleting a news item, the notifications for the customer disappear, but an email notification may already have been sent, depending on their settings.
