Notifications

Stay up to date with important updates and deadlines in real-time, without the unnecessary email clutter.

Updated over a week ago

Ziggu automatically sends notifications to keep everyone informed about the latest updates on the platform. This includes actions such as a team member uploading a news item, a client approving a proposal, or a partner uploading a proposal.

Overview and Location
You can find notifications by clicking the bell icon in the top right corner. The overview shows what has happened and which actions have taken place across all your projects. Notifications are divided into three levels: colleagues (1), clients (2), and partners (3). You can filter these by project to see only the notifications relevant to your selected project.

Interacting with Notifications
By clicking on a notification, you navigate directly to the specific feature or location it refers to. You also have the option to mark a notification as 'unread' so you can return to it later.

Tip
Did you know you can pin the notification bar? This keeps it visible while you continue working on the platform.

Changing Your Notification Settings
You can update your preferences in your profile settings. Here, you can choose to opt out of certain actions, meaning you will no longer receive notifications for specific features or projects.

Receive Notifications For...
You can choose which types of alerts you wish to receive:

  • Platform: Enable this option to receive a notification within Ziggu, under the bell icon in the navigation bar.

  • Email: Enable this option to receive an email when an action occurs. To prevent inbox clutter, new information is bundled into a single email, sent at a maximum frequency of once per hour. If you have already opened a notification on the platform, you will not receive a duplicate email alert.

Note: If you deactivate platform notifications for a specific action, you will not receive email notifications for it either. If no new actions have occurred on the platform, no email will be sent.
