How do you add a Customers, Partners or Leads in Ziggu? What are their access rights? Can I impersonate them? All via Contacts!

New customer

Hooray, new customers!

The first thing you must do to grant your customers access to the platform is to add them as a contact. How to add a customer as a contact is described below, but the full process for also inviting them is described in the article about customers.

Adding a customer as a contact person

  • Go to Contacts

  • Go to the 'Customer' tab and click the '+ New customer' button

  • Fill in their contact details. Only the first name, last name, and email address are mandatory.

  • Click 'Add customer' at the bottom of the page.

Important: When you add a customer as a contact, this customer does not yet have immediate access to the platform. You will see that the customer has been given the status 'Not yet invited'. How you can invite a customer to your platform is described in the article about customers.


New partner

Before you can add a partner to a Decision or to Project Partners, they must be added to the contact list.

  • Go to Contacts

  • Go to the 'Partner' tab and click the '+ New partner' button.

  • Fill in their contact details. Only the first name, last name, and email address are mandatory.

  • You can add the partner to an existing company or create a new company.

  • Click 'Create' at the bottom of the page.

Tip: If you add a partner to a company, it creates a handy overview for you. You can find these companies back when you create a group of decision partners for a decision.

This way you can easily see which partners work together. You can always add as many contacts within a company as you like. On their side, they can then easily collaborate.


New Lead

Before you can add a lead to a unit in the Sales function, they must be added to the contact list.

  • Go to Contacts

  • Go to the 'Leads' tab and click the '+ New lead' button.

  • Fill in their contact details. Only the first name and last name are mandatory.

  • Click 'Add lead' at the bottom of the page.

Tip: When a lead buys a unit and this unit is thus labelled as "sold," this lead will automatically become a Customer in the contact list.


Impersonate

Are you wondering what the portal looks like for buyers (or partners)? With the Impersonation function, you see exactly what your client sees.

  • Go to Contacts.

  • Scroll to the person you want to impersonate, click the three dots on the right, and select 'Impersonate' from the drop-down list. (To impersonate a client, this contact person must be using the platform or at least have been invited.)

You are now viewing the platform through the eyes of your contact! Tip: If you impersonate, you can read notifications, etc. on the customer side, but these will not be marked as opened on the customer side.

Click on your profile picture bottom left or top right and "Stop Impersonation" to leave the customer.
