Contacts

How do you add a Customers, Partners or Leads in Ziggu? What are their access rights? Can I impersonate them? All via Contacts!

New customer

Hooray, new customers! 🚀

The first thing you need to do to give your customers access to the platform is to add them as a contact. How to add a customer as a contact is described below, but the full process to also invite them is described in the article on customers.

Add customer as a contact

  • Go to Contacts

  • Go to the ‘Customer’ tab and click the ‘+ New customer’ button

  • Fill in their contact details. Only first name, last name and email address are required.

  • Click ‘Add customer’ at the bottom of the page.

Important: When you add a customer as a contact, this customer does not yet have immediate access to the platform. You will see that the customer has been given the status ‘Added’. How to invite a customer to your platform is described in the article on customers.


New Partner

Before you can add a partner to a Decision or Project Partners, it must be added to the contact list.

  • Go to Contacts

  • Go to the ‘Partner’ tab and click the ‘+ New partner’ button.

  • Fill in their contact details. Only the first name, last name the e-mail address are required.

  • You can add the partner to an existing company or create a new one.

  • Click on ‘Create’ at the bottom of the page.

Tip: Adding partner to a company creates a handy overview for you. It makes it easy to see which partners are working together. You can always add as many contacts within a company as you want. On their side, they can then easily collaborate.


New Lead

Before you can add a lead to a property in the Sales feature, it must be added to the contact list.

  • Go to Contacts

  • Go to the ‘Leads’ tab and click the ‘+ New lead’ button.

  • Fill in their contact details. Only first name and last name are required.

  • Click on ‘Add lead’ at the bottom of the page.

Tip: When a lead buys a unit and this unit is thus labelled as ‘sold’, this lead will automatically become a Customer in the contact list.


Impersonate

Wondering what the portal looks like to buyers (or partners)? With the Impersonate feature, you get to see exactly what your customer sees.

  • Go to Contacts.

  • Scroll to the person you want to impersonate, right-click on the three dots and select ‘Impersonate’ from the drop-down list. (To impersonate a customer, this contact must be using the platform or at least invited).

You are now viewing the platform through the eyes of your contact!

Click on your profile picture and ‘Stop Impersonation’ to leave the client portal and return to your contact list.

Tip: During the first meeting with new customers, you can introduce the customer portal. Invite them to the platform immediately and use Impersonation to give a short tour to frame the platform's benefits. When the customers get home, their personal invitation awaits in their mailbox.
